Terms of Service

Last updated: March 31, 2026

Service Overview

Penelope Love Photography provides outdoor photography sessions (including Mommy & Me sessions) in the San Fernando Valley area. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

Booking and Payment

  • A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date and time.
  • The remaining $125 balance is due before the session begins.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule once with at least 24 hours notice before your session.
  • No-shows forfeit the deposit. If you do not arrive for your scheduled session without notice, the $50 deposit will not be refunded.
  • Late arrivals result in a shortened session. The session will end at the originally scheduled time.
  • Penelope Love Photography reserves the right to reschedule due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Model Release

By booking a session, you grant Penelope Love Photography permission to use photographs from your session for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. If you do not want your photos used publicly, you must notify us in writing before the session.

Delivery

  • Each session includes 8 to 10 edited photos and 1 highlight video.
  • Photos and video are delivered within 3 to 5 business days via an online gallery.
  • Additional edits or prints may be available at extra cost.

No Guarantee of Specific Results

Photography sessions involve outdoor settings and, often, young children. Weather, lighting, children's moods, and other factors outside our control may affect the session. We will do our best to capture beautiful moments, but we cannot guarantee specific poses, expressions, or outcomes.

Liability

Penelope Love Photography is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during a session. Sessions take place in public outdoor locations, and clients are responsible for supervising their children at all times.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.
